A diner kitchen can't cook without its hood system. On Sunday, July 26, the hood failed in the morning and the diner had to close while it was repaired. It reopened at 10 AM the next day.

On Monday, August 3, the hood acted up again. The plan was to open at 10 AM, but the repair took longer and the diner stayed closed for the day. Google still showed it as open, and one guest who came by left a one-star review. The diner posted an apology and explained that Google had not picked up the change in hours.
The lesson for guests: when something changes on the day, the diner's Facebook page has it first.
