RETOLD FROM THE DINER’S FACEBOOK

Pedal in Place at the Race raises money for the Bernard Norman Frank Foundation and the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson's. The diner supported it last year and signed on again in 2026.

The event runs alongside the Tour de Florissant bike race on Labor Day, which passes through Old Town. The diner was open that Monday for racers and families.

The Labor Day post had a simple division of labor: you do the pedaling, the diner handles the pancakes, eggs, burgers and coffee.
